Marie is a level 2 YMCA gym and circuits instructor, working on the Tactical Support Group in Leicestershire Constabilary.
Since being injured through running half and full marathons Marie set out to find a new method of training which gave the same "buzz" as crossing the finish line with a PB. In 2008 Marie was introduced to Cossfit, although synical to start she soon discovered the "buzz" far suceeded that of running.
In 2010 she came a respectable 3 rd place in the UK and Ireland sectionals, but was unable to progress further due to operational reasons at work.
Marie regulary teaches alongside Dave at "Crossfit Intensity" as well as programming for officers on Leicestershire Police's Tactical Support Group. She says; I feel a real sense of pride and honour when clients say "Thank you for tonight, it was horrible, see you next week"
" Teaching and practicing Crossfit has opened my eyes to another side of training, where selfish goals are no longer a priority and a sense of pride and discipline prevail."

Martin is a Level 1 Certified CrossFit coach and a Level 2 YMCA Gym Instructor and Circuit Trainer. He has been working within the fitness side of policing since 2008.
“I started CrossFit in 2008 and immediately enjoyed the variety and intensity of the workouts. It was great to try different functional exercises that take you away from the usual heavy weight gym programmes. Seeing the difference in people’s fitness levels whilst working out within Crossfit is amazing and it’s giving them real life fitness, no matter how old they are”.
